[The] patient has benefited tremendously from the AryCare system. This lift is the only means of mobility due to the patient's weight (> than 600 lbs.). The lift assists caregivers performing activities of daily living, dressing and bathing skills. Care can be provided by 1 or 2 individuals. Functional transfers, turning patient for pressure relief and therapeutic activities are addressed with the AryCare system. I purchased a machine in December and found that it was everything I expected it to be. It was easy to use and my wife had complete confidence in it. One time after I put my wife in our LazyBoy chair, my daughter visited with her while I took a short nap. I woke up and went into the den to put my wife back into the hospital bed. I was surprised to find that my daughter had put her back in the bed with the AryCare. It was so easy that she did not need to call for my help.

I had to be extremely careful with my wife because her skin broke and bled with the slightest irritation. She hurt all over. I could lift her or turn her without any effort on her part with the AryCare. She felt safe with this stable machine lifting her. She and I had all the confidence needed to use it for her manipulation.

I heartily recommend AryCare to anyone who has a loved one who needs to be lifted or transferred. I only wish I had bought it much sooner.

In hindsight, I honestly do not know how we could have managed without the AryCare. The AryCare is truly unique. It has allowed us several times a day to safely and easily move her from her hospital bed to her wheelchair. The AryCare is so easy to maneuver that typically only one person is required for moves of this sort. Perhaps what I and my family are most grateful for is the fact that the AryCare instills great confidence in us: we are never afraid that my mother will be dropped or that the lift will collapse or turn over. The AryCare shower system is the best system we have ever used for our patients. The AryCare system greatly enhances patient care to the extent patients request taking a shower with the system. Patients receive a shower in the privacy of their own room. The AryCare system has greatly reduced the number of man hours required to give more showers.
